Excellent weeknote! I enjoyed the idea of having cards with potential tasks which you curate just before the lesson. Over preparing and under structuring is hugely important, more than I realised in the early years of teaching. I just call it “going with the flow” which is perhaps undervaluing the importance of fully understanding the topic and having established different ways of explaining it over the years.
